With Lake Ontario on its south border, Mississauga offers a unique mix of quaint neighbourhoods, a hustling centre core, green space and historic features. Home to the iconic “Marilyn Monroe” buildings, picturesque Port Credit and the Raptors 905 team, this part of the GTA has history, architecture, sport and recreation and so much to offer outdoor enthusiasts.
Being in Peel Region, Mississauga has a vast public transit system that overlaps Brampton and Caledon and has Go stations to take commuters in and out of Toronto. The Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) is the main highway in the south of Mississauga, while the 427 borders the east, the 403 cuts through in a south-west orientation as does the 407. The QEW turns into the Gardiner expressway past the 427 that takes you directly to downtown Toronto.
